It is about your performance at work. It has a purpose and finishes when the changes have been made and the strategies put in place which enable your goals to be achieved.

It is delivered on a one to one basis focussing on specific outcomes for example this could be areas for improvement identified in an appraisal or from a 360° feedback. The coaching could be to facilitate the achievement of a business challenge such as moving to a new team or starting a new high profile project or to build better relationships or improve management skills.

The coaching is tailored to the requirements of the individual, focused on the behaviours and performance in the desired context.

All coaching sessions are completely confidential. No matter who pays for the coaching only the person coached receives information from the sessions.

The sessions are usually taken in whole or half days. The number of sessions is agreed at the outset after an introductory meeting. The number of sessions typically ranges from 3 to 6 half days.
